Fragility
I wish I could say electronics are tough, but souls are fragile, but my computer seems to want to prove me wrong. (Once again, it is giving me major problems, hence the lack of updates.)
Nevertheless, what the two Expositioners are trying to get across is that with mage-borne beings, the soul, the actual mind, whatever you want to call it, cannot last long in a non-functioning body.
I’m just really poor at writing fantasy laws like that and introducing them seamlessly into a narrative.
Just enjoy the backgrounds.
