Obligatory Furry Comic
*GASP* Social Commentary in MY ASCs?
I realize I can be offending the furries who don’t exactly get the comic, and the snarky LULZY people who are my friends. To clear up:
I’m neutral on furries, and admit to most people I look like a closet furry. I’ve accepted that. I happily post my art to “furry” art galleries that are SFW. I’m a little peeved that because of the whole stigma that I get ashamed when I show my sketchbooks to people and they see that my favourite drawing subject is toony critters, but I’ll get over it.
On the other hand, the “for the LULZ” attitude online is really getting old for me, fast. And I did it for a while. All it ended in was stress and, as they call it, “butthurt”. Again, I’m online to have fun, not spend my time looking for things that will piss me off or shock me and share it with others. I have friends who do that, and y’know, it’s fine in limited doses for me. But all things in moderation, people! For me it just causes THE BITTER to well up inside of me.
Ron, though, strikes me as a “FOR THE LULZ” type. Hence this comic. It doesn’t really make sense, even if there are humans in this universe, but I didn’t want to be like 99% of other comics and do a “skinnies” joke. :b
