I’ll admit right here: The punchline is straight from MST3k (when the MiSTied the Gumby cartoon “Robot Rumpus”.) I mainly thought of it because of certain movies from the 80’s I’ve been watching recently…
LANGUAGE!! This comic has always been rated PG in my mind for mild language (and possible later story developments); I just don’t know if I’ve ever had a reason to use bad language in the comic before. I mean, c’mon, like you wouldn’t expect someone like Ron to be a bit of a sailor mouth! (Although here it’s the supposedly more innocent Lillian cursing here. Tis not as if she hasn’t been exposed to bad language before without anyone to tell her she shouldn’t use it. Again: Ron. Need I say more?)
