Trust me or not on this, this punchline for the end of this whole darn angst segment was written well before I saw the new Transformers movie. When I think of Japan I think of cute/scary things, and robots. Mostly robots. I probably DID see one of the trailers, so let’s chalk it up to a possible subconscious inspiration.
