Memories of an Author as a Young Platypus
Honestly, if you ask me if Ron is a good person, a good role model, a good citizen and all that jazz, I don’t know what I’d say. First of all she’s been through so many versions, and of course, the snarky and sarcastic version has been lost to me for years after the first comic. All she really was in the first comic was a straight- woman to rockerbot/Lillian. It was an easy enough formula.
Nowadays between writing for her as a “Legacy” character and having her be a more prominent character in this comic to the point that Lillian hasn’t said all that much for the past handful of strips I’m trying to get her personality pinned down.
It IS easy to be a jerk to your family after a few months of being free from them. You are just being YOU, not somebody’s child. Going back to being somebody’s child can be a very bad thing indeed.
